Two signal processing problems involving coherent states methods
We discuss the relevance of coherent states based methods in signal processing applications, and illustrate with a couple of practical examples, namely problems of waveform detection in a noisy environment, and problems of spectral analysis for non stationary time series.
متن کاملTwo-mode Nonlinear Coherent States
Two-mode nonlinear coherent states are introduced in this paper. The pair coherent states and the two-mode Perelomov coherent states are special cases of the two-mode nonlinear coherent states. The exponential form of the two-mode nonlinear coherent states is given. The photon-added or photon-subtracted two-mode nonlinear coherent states are found to be two-mode nonlinear coherent states with d...
متن کاملGazeau- Klouder Coherent states on a sphere
In this paper, we construct the Gazeau-Klauder coherent states of a two- dimensional harmonic oscillator on a sphere based on two equivalent approaches. First, we consider the oscillator on the sphere as a deformed (non-degenerate) one-dimensional oscillator. Second, the oscillator on the sphere is considered as the usual (degenerate) two--dimensional oscillator. Then, by investigating the quan...
متن کاملVector Coherent States with Matrix Moment Problems
Canonical coherent states can be written as infinite series in powers of a single complex number z and a positive integer ρ(m). The requirement that these states realize a resolution of the identity typically results in a moment problem, where the moments form the positive sequence of real numbers {ρ(m)}∞ m=0 . In this paper we obtain new classes of vector coherent states by simultaneously repl...
متن کاملTemporal analysis of nonresonant two-photon coherent control involving bound and dissociative molecular states
We theoretically study the control of two-photon excitation to bound and dissociative states in a molecule induced by trains of laser pulses, which are equivalent to certain sets of spectral phase modulated pulses. To this end, we solve the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the interaction of molecular model systems with an external intense laser field. Our numerical results for the tempo...
